Well.
I heard from a source that Jackie Sr's death was the last he truly mourned over and THAT was his turning point, but drama wise, yeah 1×13 was where shit started to actually roll.
I mean maybe, but it ended how it ended, and I'm fine with that.
Shouldn't even be a question. Watch it! About to watch The Wire soon!
What?
He is only cute when he sees a bee on your hat.
Just gonna simply say that AJ was a perfect representation of people my age with depression.
Rest in Peace.
Finally got a response after almost 3 months lol!
Felt really different from the rest of the show. It felt more like a "Goodfellas" parody than its own show. It felt like it took mob stereotypes and clichés, but that was ok, but it was just starting out and the show was just trying to find its footing. Everyone felt more happy, because as the show progresses, many events happen that causes each character to be more depressed and/or angry. I have also noticed that the colours feel more dull as time went on. Watch Jackie Aprile Sr's funeral followed by Bobby's funeral. MASSIVE mood comparison. Bobby's felt dull, and Jackie's felt sad, but more like "they lost their own and they'll move on" and Bobby's felt like straight up "Holy shit this is depressing."
