Deena Hauser is the daughter of Don and Shelly Hauser.
Biography[]
Deena is on the same soccer team as Meadow Soprano and her dad is the coach. She first appears at a soccer game. After the game, her friends' fathers, who are in the mob, invite hers to have a drink at the Bing to celebrate the team’s winning. It’s revealed that in the Star Ledger that Deena’s father is leaving for a coaching job at a college and Deena’s friends' fathers try to convince him to stay, but the school he wants to move to has doubled his offer that would give Deena a free scholarship. She is next seen with her friends having drinks at a park, when her friend Ally Vandermeed attempted suicide by slitting her wrists after learning that Deena’s father is leaving. It's revealed that her father had an inappropriate relationship with Ally by sexually abusing her. When Deena’s mother learns about her father’s arrest for sleeping with one of her teammates, it’s likely that her parents have divorced.
