Dr. Melfi's office is the office of therapist Dr. Jennifer Melfi. It is located in New Jersey.

History[]

The office is located inside a hospital in New Jersey. Dr. Melfi's office is visited by multiple patients throughout the show, the most relevant one being Tony Soprano. Tony attends her office from the first episode of the series, up until the penultimate one. Tony is at one point worried about how safe the office is, as one of his fellow mobster friends Silvio Dante goes to a dental clinic which is right next to the office, and he fears for his reputation should his colleagues discover he is seeing a psychiatrist, as they could think he might be spewing out family secrets. This leads him to put his trust on New Jersey policeman Vin Makazian to spy Dr. Melfi on her personal life to make sure she doesn't mention their meetings to anyone. Other patients include Tony's wife, Carmela, and Gloria Trillo, who was suicidal and ultimately killed herself.
