The Sopranos Wiki

The Miami Crew are Little Carmine Lupertazzi's faction of the Lupertazzi crime family. Primarily based in Miami and Long Island. They are far removed from the day-to-day actions of the family and mostly deal in legitimate businesses (aside from briefly profitting from shylocking). such as film production (both porn and mainstream film), owning disco clubs, and fixing wet t-shirt contests.

History[]

After his father died from a stroke, Little Carmine left Miami for a few months and went to war with Johnny Sack for control of the family. During the conflict, Sack's faction killed Carmine's cousin Lorraine Calluzzo, and his Consigliere Angelo Garepe. After the bloodshed became too much for him, Little Carmine decided to back down and let Sack become the new boss. He then took his family, and returned to Miami, where he went back to running his crew. Now choosing to be happy with what he has in life.

In December, a short while after Carmine stepped back from the conflict, Johnny Sack was preparing for a trip to Miami, with him stating during a phone call with Tony Soprano that he needs to "get things in line there". It's possible he was planning on whacking Little Carmine, though whatever he said he was going to do never happened, as he was soon arrested by the FBI for racketeering, and some of the murders he ordered during his war against Little Carmine, thanks to the testimony of his former consigliere Jimmy Petrille, who also testified against his own crew in New York.

Now in the clear, carmine and his crew went back to running their businesses in peace, with them even producing Christopher Moltisanti's Mafia Slasher movie "Cleaver". By 2006, carmine has become the new mediator between the Lupertazzis and the Sopranos and seems to be living in New York with his family so he could be close whenever he is needed. Though he still remains as capo of his crew.
