Michael Gandolfini (born May 10, 1999) is an American actor. He portrayed a young version of Tony Soprano in The Sopranos prequel film The Many Saints of Newark.
Gandolfini is the son of the late actor James Gandolfini, who starred as Tony Soprano in The Sopranos. He has described watching the series for the first time in preparation for the role as a difficult process, and mentioned that certain scenes between Tony and his children resonated with him on a personal level.[1]
