Peter LaRosa, portrayed by Jeffrey Marchetti, is an associate of the Soprano Crew, and member of the DiMeo crime family.
Biography[]
He was part of the group that Soprano soldier Paulie Germani took to vandalize Lupertazzi boss Carmine Lupertazzi's restaurant in the HUD dispute between the DiMeo/Soprano and Lupertazzi crime families.
Petey is addressed on one occasion as "Bissell." This comes long after he was first introduced and is unlikely to be a continuity error. The origin of this nickname is never explained in the show.
Peter made his bones (along with Benny Fazio) by killing Stanley Johnson and Credenzo Curtis on orders from Soprano capo Christopher Moltisanti. Bissell is often seen at Satriale's Pork Store or with other Soprano members and associates at their no-work construction jobs. He was sweeping up at Satriale's when Tony Soprano returned after recovering from his injury and later showed Phil Leotardo into the room. He continued his role as a doorman and then admitting Anthony Infante to his meeting with Tony at the Bada Bing.
It is possible that Peter moved to one of the remaining active crews in the Soprano crime family after the death of capo Christopher Moltisanti.
Murders commited by Bissell[]
Credenzo Curtis: A drug dealer who was shot in his own car by Bissell and Benny Fazio under orders of Tony Soprano and Christopher Moltisanti so that the cancelled assassination of Carmine Lupertazzi would remain a secret.
